A dense nose and a delicious one, full of a ripeness of summer and citrus fruits. Rich aromas include lime and grapefruit, strawberry, starfruit and fennel. There are notes of super-ripe peach. There's great concentration to the palate. This coats the tongue in an extract of limey citrus fruit and fine, crystalline minerals. This has fabulous directness and control, powering through in cool aloofness to a very long and fresh finish. This is one busy, complex and fascinating mouthful of young Riesling. Bowes Wine original note
All our wines are given a Sweetness Indicator from 1 to 5, with 1 being the driest and 5 being the sweetest.
This can be found for every wine under the Wine Details tab.
Most red wines are dry and therefore are indicated with a 1. The sweetness becomes more relevant with white wines, sparkling wines and pudding/dessert wines such as Sauternes and Tokaji.
