I scooped up a few mixed cases from my own portfolio the other day as I had noticed there being a number of wines in my collection that had been on their plateaus of maturity for some time. And of each that has appeared on a Bowes Wine offer at some time in the past I intend to record a tasting video so that those with stocks of the wines in question might know how they're getting on.
Most recently, I have published video tasting notes of the following wines:
2009 Maranges 1er Cru La Fussière Rouge, Bachelet-Monnot
2004 Barbaresco Rabaja, Cascina Luisin
2009 Chorey-lès-Beaune La Pièce du Chapître, Tollot-Beaut
2012 Carpe Diem, Domaine de l'Ecu
2004 Nombre d'Or, Champagne Aubry
In addition, I recently recorded a video tasting note of a mature northern Rhône wine that we offered many vintages ago and which a Bowes Wine client is now listing for sale on GrapePip. This video - for the 2005 Côte Rôtie Cuvée Du Plessy, Giles Barge - can be viewed on each lot listing here
Two exciting new listings on GrapePip this morning as follows:
N.V. Blanc de Blancs, Champagne Ruinart
"Rich yet lively blanc de blancs with powerful back-end lift and finishing grip." Josh Raynolds
Three lots of 1x6, one of which has already attracted a bid.
2011 Gevrey-Chambertin Coeur de Roy, Dugat-Py
"This robust effort is textbook Gevrey." Burghound
Also listing 2009 Gevrey Chambertin Vieilles Vignes and 2009 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru from this legendary domaine.
