Harslevelu-Grape-Variety

Synonyms for this variety are Hárslevelu (in Hungarian), Lipovina (in Slovak), Frunza de tei (in Romanian), Lindenblättriger (in German) and Feuille de Tilleul (in French)

In all these languages the name refers to the "lime tree leaf". The grape is planted in several  Hungarian wine regions regions, but most prominently in the tiny wine region of Somlo, and especially in Tokaj-Hegyalia,  where it is blended with Furmint Tokaji Aszú and other wines, both still and sparkling.
