Our wine tasting at 67 Pall Mall is fast-approaching and we continue to plan surprises and delights for the event: wines that will fascinate; wines that will cause sighs of pleasure, and wines that will catalyse discussion and debate (we hope).
We will, as ever, be welcoming tasters with a glass of our house champagne. The wines of Larnaudie-Hirault are all-but unknown in the UK, yet they continue to give immense pleasure. Indeed, the Blanc de Noirs has won the top award in its category twice at the Drinks Business Global Masters Pinot Noir competition.
There will then follow a relaxed, walkabout opportunity to taste some of the wines we love, both red and white. We will be including wines from Bowes Wineoffers past and present, as well as some current GrapePiplistings...and I will probably be bringing one or two pleasant bits and bobs from my own cellar.
