Ronc di Vico was founded in 2004 by Gianni Del Fabbro. Having studied wine making and undergone tutelage by Enzo Pontoni of Miani, he starting making his own wine, soon joined by his son. What started as a hobby became a full-time endeavour. The family control the whole business from grape to client.

This is big wine and complex with it. There's little of the Merlot soft plumminess about this, rather it is laden with spice and aromas and flavours of dried herbs. There are some significant, but integrated tannins and a wonderful fresh minerality throughout. Indeed, this is a fresh wine all 'round, showing dark and slightly chocolaty fruit. It could really only come from a northern clime. Long, long, long. And requiring a couple of years to get into its stride. Nothing facile here; this is really serious red wine. Bowes Wine original note
All our wines are given a Sweetness Indicator from 1 to 5, with 1 being the driest and 5 being the sweetest.
This can be found for every wine under the Wine Details tab.
Most red wines are dry and therefore are indicated with a 1. The sweetness becomes more relevant with white wines, sparkling wines and pudding/dessert wines such as Sauternes and Tokaji.
